Recommended: Bija! and Carbon-Based Anatomy.

Described as “both a philosophical as well as a musical journey, one that begins in the Amazon jungle on the lips of a shamanic wisewoman (as portrayed by Amy Correia) and ends in outerspace”, Cynic’s newest EP is a fresh take on genre fusion, especially the combination of Metal’s intensity with tribal Folk, Jazz and spacey soundscapes!

For fans of: Jazz Metal / Progressive Metal.

  • Andromeda – Manifest Tyranny

Andromeda are still the much technical Progressive Metal band they always were, but now with added melody to the music and some different vocal stylings. The album is totally enjoyable from start to end with catchy choruses and challenging guitar solos. What also prevails in this album are the keyboard effects and the post production work.

Recommended: Stay Unaware and Chosen by God.
