‘Deconstruction’ walks on the same crazy humorous lines as ‘Ziltoid The Omniscient‘ did, with grand orchestral themes, plenty of Metal mayhem and a bunch of renowned guest musicians. With his most technical and complex work to date, Devin proves to be one of the most hardworking musicians in the Metal music industry.

For fans of: Devin Townsend – ‘Ziltoid The Omniscient’ and Strapping Young Lad.

Recommended: Feather and Texada.

‘Ghost’, the 4th release in the Devin Townsend Project series, relates more to his 2009 release ‘Ki’, as in the softer side from Devin’s numerous musical moods. Ambient sounds, clean vocals and atmospheric layers make this the perfect chill out album.

For fans of: Devin Townsend Project – ‘Ki’ and Lunatic Soul.

The 4 long years of waiting are over with the release of the long-awaited new Symphony X album. Iconoclast, meaning Icon Destroyer, brings up the concept of “Machine ruling Man”, and the loss of the human spirit. The album kicks off with more thrash metal riffs than us fans are used to, but Latin choirs are still present for all Symphony X fans. A must-check record.

For fans of: Adagio, Dream Theater, Pagan’s Mind and Circus Maximus.
