This band was active in early 1987 as an underground Grindcore/ raw Black Metal band. In 1994/1995 Rotting Christ started to combine their musical talent by forming their own unique epic style as Progressive / Melodic Black metal (dark Metal influences); even their song names are confusing in some way.
The band is talented, skilled and well forged by their lyrical themes and musical mood and specific in their oriental back grounding guitar riffs and guitar solos.

They have perseverance and the will to continue and give us more musical talents and knowledge. It’s one of my favorite bands: mysterious, talented and having impressive members as well.
Favorite songs of mine are: Enuma Elish, Keravnos Kivernitos, He the Aethyr, Nemecic and Threnody.
