Karnivool is hands down one of the best Australian Metal bands, and their music is always fresh and modern-sounding. Asymmetry packs a full hour of Alternative and Progressive Rock with all sorts of ups and downs, electronic influences, groovy beats and creative composing and musicianship. This is without a doubt one of the best albums of 2013.

  • Mercenary – Through Our Darkest Days

Recommended: Generation Hate, A Moment of Clarity

Slowly but surely, Mercenary earned its reputation as one of the best Melodic Death Metal bands in Germany. “Through Our Darkest Days” is another good release by the band who has kept up a solid pace of album releases every 2 years.

This is a magnificent work by a talented Metal producer, the guy who have worked on Lebanese band’s Kaoteon album.Dan teamed with Ragnar Widerberg, a multi-instrumentalist with a unique touch in all he does.

The album also includes a cover for Judas priest and the fabulous band “Gentle Giant”, one of the best progressive rock bands of its time.

  • LiquorWorks – Muscle Explosion

Recommended: Annoying Man, Strap Games.

Liquorworks presents impressive Electronic work fused with metal, you can notice it on the sampler video. They add some Saxophone and lots of creativity. Fans consider the Finnish guys behind the band Djentelmen.
